Online Resource of the Month – 45 Digital Tools for Creating Visual Digital Content

This is a great resource from AdEspresso – a roundup of 45 online design tools.  Digital people in nonprofits know how important visual content is to get engagement online; digital people in nonprofits also often don’t have the budget to get Photoshop for creating graphics, or proper video editing software.  Photoshop Express is not a solution, by the way: it’s rubbish.

There’s some old favourites of mine on this list, including the wonderful Adobe Spark (I have Photoshop and still like to use this). There’s also some new ones that I’m excited to try out, like the Chrome plugin Soapbox and Jing, both of which let you record and edit video for free. Lots of tools included to help you make gifs and memes too.  A super handy list.
